Things I Do On A Monday

Today I wanted to share what I’ve got into a routine with doing on a Monday.

I call it my “CEO day” and it’s a day for me to focus on working ON the business.

This is generally what it looks like:

1) Morning Ritual

This includes going for a walk, journalling, meditation and visualisation. I do this every morning without fail.

2) Tracking

I track all of my numbers (finances and marketing). It takes me around 15 minutes to do and helps me to see what’s working, what’s not working and what needs my attention.

3) Content

I work on my content for the week. This includes emails, blog and social media content.

4) Work On My Goals

I go back to the goals I set myself at the beginning of the quarter to see where I’m at with those and will work for a couple of hours on the tasks to get me closer to reaching them.

5) Client Check-In & Respond To Emails

I’ll do a quick check-in on my 1:1 clients and book time in my calendar with them if needed.

6) Calendar And Time Check

My last task of the day is to check my calendar to see what’s coming up this week and cross-check that with my to do list. I’ll then block off time to work on my priorities for the week.

It hasn’t always looked like this and it’s taken me a while to get to it but it all started with imagining how I wanted my working week to look and then taking consistent action to make it happen.

I’ll leave you with this quote….

“Action is the foundational key to all success” — Pablo Picasso

And when you’re ready to scale your business that will free up your time to work on and grow your business my program 90 Days To Scale With Ease is ready and waiting for you.

The Pomodoro Technique Actually Works!

Fun fact: The term “Pomodoro” translates to “tomato” in Italian. Francesco Cirillo, a college student who came up with the technique, named it Pomodoro because of a tomato-shaped kitchen timer he owned.
